alright, i want to know what medium do you all prefer when doing flat image cakes?? I know you can do the buttercream transfers, but i really hate doing those. what other options are there???

how about you people who use projectors, what icing do you use for the image????

I use color flow for my images. It's a fun technique and pretty simple. I have used piping gel and colored it but that was for a stained glass look. I've never used a projector so will be looking forward to seeing more answers on that.

choc transfers can lay flat. I love doing those! And I just bought a projector--waiting for the arm to arrive so I haven't used it yet. I am hoping it will make writing easier.
