I recently aquired a wonder mold pan for making the Barbie dress cakes.
I will be using it soon and was wondering how it will be sliced for serving.
The instructions that came with the pan don't say anything about it. It uses one cake mix so I'm assuming it would have 12-15 servings.
Does anyone who has done this cake have any tips? Do you just slice in a circle, like pie slices?
Thanks.

I made this once and I thought "what the $%$%$?"
when it came to cutting it. So I took the doll out and sliced it in a cross pattern. Where it left me with four big slices. Then I laid those down and just starting cutting it. Some had a big piece some had a small piece. This cake I feel is for looks and for kids only. They don't care what the serving looks like, they just get excited because their eating the dolls dress. LOL Good Luck!

When I made it, I cut it in half (horizontally) and then made slices from that. Mostly, though, I agree--it's all about the looks. Kids don't really care what they are eating, they are just excited to be eating the dress.

The one complaint I got, though, (from the kids) was that they wanted more icing. LOL!
