Thanks to all the help from so many. I'm very new to this and I really am learning so much from all of you. This is my new hobby that I do at night when the kids are in bed.

This cake is chocolate with raspberry preserves for filling with a BC dam. BC frosting and chocolate BC decorations. Still need to work on techniques but impressed with myself none the less.

Once again thanks again! The family is going to love eating this one this weekend on holiday. Trying something else as well since it is only them -- freezing the finished cake because it has to travel 3 hours by car to destination -- will see how it works -- its only family, right?

I'm impressed. If you hadn't said anything, I never would have guessed, that it's your first. looks very elegant.
