When selling a cake do you list your ingredients on the box for legal reasons (allergies etc?) Do you mostly doctor up cake mixes? I have a few amazing recipes for doctored box cakes but feel guilty about selling them for some reason and not making my cakes from scratch. Any opinions on this?

you really have to find our what your state requires. i believe some insist on the cake box being labeled with everything that is in it, including ingredients that are in your ingredients (like a pudding mix, or a cake mix). i am making the switch from cake mix to scratch, because i feel like it sounds more impressive. (having said that, its hard to find really GOOD scratch cake recipes. so i am doing a lot of testing to find ones that i love as much or more than my mixes)
