Hello all,

I am doing a wedding cake this weekend. There will be 100 people at this wedding. I am making a 14x3 round, 10x3 round and a 6x3 round. I know that the 6x3 is going to the bride and groom, so it will not be eaten with the guests. Do you think these tiers are enough?? I have looked on several websites and it varies. Some say 95 people and others say 115. Do you think I should also do a small sheet cake on the side just in case??Thanks in advance. Sylvia

59,
Since it all varies on who's cutting, I would
make a small sheet on the side. Is the cake
the only dessert for the wedding?

Should make 116 (1"x2"x3") servings

I think you will be fine!! especially if you are baking 3" cakes. Make sure the person cutting the cake knows how to. Or they won't get the number of servings they need.

Please post a picture when your done!!!

I would guess that it will be just fine according to my wilton wedding cake book it should serve 116 these peices are approx 1"x2" 2 layer peices. Also, you may asume that not everyone is going to eat a piece of cake.

As far as I am aware, this is the only dessert they are having.
