I saw thread awhile back about a new tool that someone had found that will square the edges of fondant after it is on the cake. It was just a small plastic kinda "L" shaped thing. I have no idea what it was called or what the website was....Does anyone remember seeing this??? I really want to try it out on a cake in about 2 weeks. TIA ~ Jessica

I saw what you are describing on a cake supply site... I'm so sorry I can't remember which one...

I did a google search "Fondant Tools" and a bunch of sites will pop up... You'll have to search, but I know it is out there!

Sorry I cannot help more...

They are called Edgers and are shown here.

It's a good thing Globalsugarart carries them now. I got my set 2 years ago from the U.K and it cost an arm and a leg icon_sad.gif

wow $16.99. Am I the only person that thinks that is nuts for a litle piece of plastic? I bet it cost them 5 cents to make that thing!

I bet that you could take a stroll around Home Depot, and find something much cheaper that would work!

I do think they are a little pricey but I did walk around Lowes for a while looking for something that I thought would work about the same and I never found anything. I have even gone through every odd thing in my house and still came up with nothin...I am all about cheap alternatives though so if any one has any ideas let me know thumbs_up.gif
