I have a 3 tier cake for a first birthday to make for May 19th. I made a cake for her once and she said that is was moit but she likes them even more moist. What I use is 1 cup whole milk, 1 stick of butter, and 3 eggs per box. Any suggestions?

I haven't used it for cakes, but I have used it in chocolate chip cookies. I like the taste of it in the cookies, but the flavoring is colored, it's an orange color so you won't have pure white icing with it.

BAlicia..... to make your cake more moist use a box of instant pudding, I use french vanilla in a white cake and it seems to do the trick! I made cup cakes this evening w/out the pudding and I didn't like them!! And if you like vanilla....try adding a tsp of extra vanilla to the cake mix. I use pillsbury made the way the box calls for and add a box of instant pudding! Hope that helps!

Thank you so much. That worked. I baked one last night and brought it to work and they simply loved it! icon_biggrin.gif
