Is it possible to cut edible images?

For example, I have an edible image that has a lot of white space around the actual image. Can I cut the stuff off that's not printed on?

If so, what's the best method?

Thanks,
Sharon

Yes I do it all the time. I just use a pair of scissors, then peal off your image and place on cake. Sandy

Yup--do it all the time! For bigger cut outs I may use my scissors. For smaller detailed cutouts, I may use my exacto knife.

I have also cut out images with great success.

I only use the 7.5x10" frosting sheets and I cut them to the shape/size I need. As long as the sheet is still flexible and not brittle, you shouldn't have any trouble cutting shapes out. I use very sharp, fine scissors.

If the leftover scraps of frosting sheet are large enough, you can use them to stamp on or color on with edible inks. If they're very large, you can even run them through the printer again.

I cut edible images all the time without a problem. Just be carefel that your hands are dry to avoid smudges.
