I love the "funky graduation" cake! I had it saved to my favorites! Can't wait to get the chance to try out something like that - it looks so fun!! ![]()

I haven't read this entire thread, but I wanted to post this link before I forgot about it: http://www.geocities.com/qccakeclub/club_demos/demo_photos_12.html
PM redsoxgirl with your email addy so she can email you ;o)
I'd love to know what book you got these from. I know that a couple of them are from the Cakes to Dream On by Collette, but I didn't recognize the others.
Holy smokes!! I am a quilling addict!! I feel dumb for never thinking to use it on a cake!!!!!!
Thanks for the wakeup call!

Marian - you may be thinking of the Lambeth Method of Cake Decorating. It can look like quilling and uses Royal or Buttercream. Each layer of a design uses a smaller tip and the outcome is a stand-up type look, similar but different than quilling. Just do a search here on CC or on the web for more information.
FYI: The original book by Lambeth himself is available on Ebay for over $300, ug!
