I'd love to know what book you got these from. I know that a couple of them are from the Cakes to Dream On by Collette, but I didn't recognize the others.

Hi,
Does any one have any idea about quilling with royal icing to make those beautiful scrols? I have checked your answers but all of them were based on fondant modeling, and I have also seen them in royal icing.

Marian - you may be thinking of the Lambeth Method of Cake Decorating. It can look like quilling and uses Royal or Buttercream. Each layer of a design uses a smaller tip and the outcome is a stand-up type look, similar but different than quilling. Just do a search here on CC or on the web for more information.

FYI: The original book by Lambeth himself is available on Ebay for over $300, ug!
