I made a red velvet cake for a wedding client who wanted to sample it. Since I live in humidity world I advised against Cream Cheese icing, as the cake would be traveling to the site..... so I came up with using Buttercream... which I wasn't stoked about... when making the BC I decdied to try a new oil flavor I had purchased but hadn't yet used... Champagne flavored oil... made my BC as normal using vanilla, but also added a tinge of champagne flavor and HOLY MOLY.... it was a match made in cake heaven in my opinion... so from now on... I will offer champagne flavored icing for my wedding cakes! You have to try it if you can!

Wow that sound neat. I'll have to get some of that. It would be nice to add something to give it a little wow taste.
