Can I put my totally hard gumpaste flowers on top of BC tonight and the flowers not soften or get soggy by tomorrow evening? I know fondant will do that but am I safe with gumpaste? Thanks!

I wouldn't do that. Any type of moisture can make your GP "wilt".

aah you will be fine. I put em on my non-crusting all the time. Whipped cream is ANOTHER STORY though! Learned that the hard way icon_smile.gif

Sorry, I second the NO. The gumpaste will absorb the moisture in the bc and could cause it to get gummy and break down. I wouldn't risk it.

I would also say no...

I made gum paste flowers this morning and because of all of the humidy we are having, they are taking along time to dry... It's nearly taking a full two weeks for my gumpaste and gumpaste/fondant flowers to dry...

I would hate to read that your flowers wilted before their time...

Thanks everyone! The no's win! I will wait until right before the reception to put them on.
