Wilton Whipped Icing

Has anyone decorated with this? If so, do you have any tips/ideas? I have a request for this icing and I have not used it before? Is this icing like that whipped stuff you can get on cakes at Sam's?

I've used the wilton whipped icing & I like it. It doesn't hold vibrant colors, they are more pastel. On a side note, my local supermarket will sell me their bettercreme at a cheaper price than what the wilton whipped icing will cost me.
