I need some ideas asap.....i want some ideas for a cake for a one year old...its a 12 inch square sponge and she s mad about ducks...i have 5 days ...sponge in oven now but i go away tomorrow for 2 days...need to produce something and quick...any pics greatly appreciated...many thanks icon_smile.gif

I did a REALLY quick duck cake. I used a duckie cookie cutter and put them swimming around the side of the cake. You could do the cake light blue and do a white and blue mix for "waves." I think the photo is in my pics. I think it took about 8-12 ducks. They just stuck right to the buttercream. Hope this helps!

Make the sponge cake a bathtub. Scoop out the center and place blue jello (right before delivering) or piping gel for bath water. Place two large marshmallows as your faucets. Float rubber duckies in the "water".

OR

Same theory as above, but instead make cake a pond. Float ducks, add cattails, and greenery.
