I have a request for a graduation full sheet cake, which I've never done. I've been told I can use two 1/2 sheets. Can someone please advise the easiest way to do this? Can I make 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate?

absolutely!!!! Just bake two 1/2 sheet cakes....one of each flavor per the request...then lay them on the board ( I would suggest plywood) right next to eachother and frost over the whole thing....you'll never know they were two separate cakes! I don't even think there is such a thing as a full sheet cake pan! Make sure your board is really sturdy though because if it bends at all you could get a crack down the center where the two cakes come together.

Hi,

You can indeed use two half sheet cakes to make a full sheet. You can also use whatever flavor cakes you would like to do this. Just press them side by side on a big enough board (I use a full sheet board and then double them for stability) ice the tween cake section to help hold it together. Then you simply ice and decorate as usual. It is really very simple!
