I am making a cake (strictly from a mix) in the wondermold pan. I am out of instant pudding mix...can I just use an extra egg instead, to make it a little denser/sturdier?

Thanks in advance! icon_smile.gif

I wouldn't I think it makes it more dry. Try some mayo.

i always put an extra egg in (4 instead of 3) when i make my cakes. i find that it makes the cakes denser, more moist. if it's a chocolate cake you can also try substituting applesauce for the oil. same measurements. this substitution doesn't work so well for white cake becasue you'll get a slight applesauce flavor.
