do you mean a cookie that you will cut out and then ice? The icing may be what makes it so sweet tasting... alone, the no-fail isn't particulalry sweet. I don't have a less sweet base cookie recipe, but here's a bump...

I make it as written but with real butter, and I usually don't have to chill it.
Have you tried Toba Garrett's butter cookie recipie? It isn't that sweet.
