My future brother in law is about to graduate from a specalized area of med school. He has been a dr for a long while and is a surgeon and just finished his speciatly in plastic surgery. His family is flying in to celebrate & my sister asked if I could do a cake for the party. The only two ideas I have been able to come up with is a DR's medical bag.Or i recall seeing somewhere someone talking about doing the game operation. I have no idea how to get started on either. I would appreciiate any help or other ideas. Thanks in advance thumbs_up.gif

It might be a little scary, I'm not sure, but could you do something with masks, maybe a couple of noses...lips, etc. and make it kind of fun/silly...

I might try to do something more specific to plastic surgery. I can see a Mr. Potato Head with all the extra parts on the cake board. You could do a tiered cake and sculpt body parts out of fondant to place here and there.

Sounds like a fun cake to do! I wish it was me!! LOL!

One of Colletes Birthday Cakes has the medical bag in it with all the instructions. I have tried scanning and emailing things to people but to no avail. If someone else has maybe they would do it for you. I would be willing to snail mail it to you though. It would take a few days for you to get it. But if want me too jus PM me with you address.

I really like the Mr. Potato Head idea. That's one I will have to keep in mind for a future cake.
