I am making a barbie cake for someone at work's daughter. She said they are chocolate lovers in her house. so I thought I would add melted white chocolate to my regular buttercream receipe. will this work. I also plan to color pink as primary, so this is why I want white chocolate. any advise or receipe would be nice.

I've done it before, and it worked nicely. But I'm sure that regular vanilla buttercream would work just as well with a chocolate cake, especially if it had a chocolate filling. Either way, should be good. icon_smile.gif

Here is the recipe I use, its in with my banana cake recipe. Dont really know if that what you want, but it sets firm with a creamy texture.

Thanks for the recipe. It sounds really good, I think I'll try it this weekend!
