i just finished my second BCT and the girl i made it for is picking it up tomorrow afternoon. i tend to use a lot of water when smoothing my cakes so it seemed like my cake was leaking water when i put the BCT ontop of it... i finished the borders and writing and now i have it underneath my kitchen fan... will it be okay? i'm scared it will all run together or "melt"... would it be better to store it in the refrigerator overnight or leave it out? covered or uncovered? i just want it to look good for tomorrow when she comes to get it icon_smile.gif thanks everyone!

have you tried to carefully dab the water off. Maybe with a paper towel or something?? It's a close call because I've heard of people storing the BCT in the fridge then when it gets out, the colors sweat together. I think that if the water is underneath the BCT then it should be fine out of the fridge

k, thanks... i'm going to leave it out then. i tried to dab as much as i can off and with the fan running i think it dried it out quite a bit so i should be alright... we'll see tomorrow morning i guess icon_smile.gif thanks
