Does anyone know where on the net I can get a good CLEAR picture of Batman and his colors? I have searched and searched, but everything I've seen is so dark I can't make anything out. I saw a very clear picture of Joker (isn't that his name?) and I thought that would be perfect if only it were Batman. I know he is mostly black, but my sister said he has blue gloves. I would need a picture from head to toe, if possible. I am doing a royal icing transfer-biggest one yet. Not too big, but it is going on a 9x13 cake. My 6 year old nephew said that he wanted a Batman cake for his birthday (party Saturday) and it took me forever to find the right picture. I found a Batman coloring page so it is not colored. Also, how do I get the flesh color for the little bit on his face? Thanks In advance!! I love CC!!

It really all depends on the version of Batman you want to use. The comic ones tend to have him in the grey suit with blue or black or bluish/black accents, but the movie versions tend to have him in an all black suit.

Here is a pic of some of the comic versions. The 1999 one is Batman Beyond http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/04/DCAU_batsuits.jpg

Another question: What kind of border should I put on this cake? Since it is Batman and for a boy, shells are out. Anything not girly? It seems like everything is made for girls practically everywhere you go. So hard to shop for boys-especially clothes. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas please let me know!!

I really dont see why you cant do a shell border. I never thought it was girly personally. But any border should be fine!

This is a border I find I use a lot with boy's cakes, instead of the shell: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/missyekelley/album/576460762347125573/photo/294928804195810511/10
