HEY! She stole my idea. I am watching the 2006 wedding cake competition at the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show and missed the first 15 minutes. Just turned it on and there is a designer working on her cake and explaining what she is doing. A Russian art design with gold frames on the sides and hand painted Russian art, also the Romanov family crest! Can you believe it. Hope no one tomorrow night thinks I took this idea from her.

Good Luck! I actually saw your pix last week; it was a few days before I saw the thing on TV last night! I know I always think I have an original idea and sure enough, someone's done a version of it! DOOHHH! LOL There are just waaaayy too many of us... hehehe

I missed a lot of that show last night, first I forgot about it and so turned it on 15 minutes into the show, and then I was making appetizers for tonights event so was kind of running in and glancing at the cakes and then back in to the kitchen. I wasn't aware she won a silver, good for her, it was a pretty cake. The one from Sri Lanka was fabulous though.
