Hello! on the wedding cake.. She would like a strawbery filling, using whole strawberries sliced , layered on a heavy whipping cream..
Any ideas on the heavy whipping cream? if i just get it in the carton.. and whip it.. do i add anything to that?

thanks!!

I'm not sure what she is looking for here but, if you use the stabilized whip cream recipe from this site your WC will last quite long (as much as a day or two) depending on the weather.

You would be beat sugar and heavy whipping cream (in a carton from the store) together until medium stiff peaks form. But this filling would require refrigeration. Something you may want to reconsider if the cake will not be able to be in a fridge at the reception hall.
