buns, I didn't want to join you old cake club anyway icon_razz.gif

Michiganders all know what yuppers are, I know I didn't spell that right.

I want to be a yupper, we found a house there but couldn't sell ours. The house market in MI is so bad. A lot of it has to do with so many job losses.

It's Yoopers, and that only if you live in the Upper Michigan. Lower Michiganites are called Trolls. icon_lol.gif

I'm completely butting in here, but you are making me laugh with your Yooper bit! My Dad went to high school (for freshman and sophomore year) in Stambaugh (sp?) and my parents now live about an hour south of the UP. We go up there every chance we get for pasties at Joe's in Iron River (I think?). I was just there last week and loved listening to the way people speak.

I love that area of the country (even though I think the UP should rightly be annexed to Wisconsin - it just makes sense!!!).

Ducking and running . . . .

I started a new topic so this one doesn't get farther off the State Fair topic.
