Have any of you done a pill bottle cake? I have been asked to do one and really am clueless.

bottle is just a stack of layers -- think like one of those modern tall tier concepts where the cake is 16 or so inches high but is actually 6 two inch layers treated for doweling and cakeboard purposes as 3 - 4" tiers -- they just all happen to be the same size.

cap would be an extra layer that is 2 to 4 inches wider than rest of cake.

so say -- six 6" layers (in 3 tiers) with a final 8 or 10" single layer for the cap.

label could be edible image or chocolate transfer (create on a curved surface so it matches curve of cake).
