I posted this question elswhere, but thought I would ask in here also...

My mother made these many many years ago and I cannot for the life of me find a recipe or anyone in my family who has one. They all say it was "Joans specialty...". I know it was something so simple its silly, but I cannot remember what. Something like cake rolled in somekind of icing paste and dipped in melted chocolate then had pecans cocnut sprinkled on top.

Anyone out there have a mom like me and have this kind of recipe???

Like I said, I dont have a recipe to judge them on, but boy those sound yummy. They may just be the same or similar to the ones my mom made. My mom always kidded about graduating from the U of BC (university of betty crocker...).

Do a search in the forums on Cake Balls or Cake Truffles and you'll come up with all kinds of cool suggestions. Maybe you can come up with your own family favorite! icon_lol.gif
