Okay so I made the chocolate mayo cake that is non dairy and am trying to find a good non-dairy frosting recipe --- ANYONE PLEASE???? ---
Anyway I tried the all crisco buttercream - OH GROSS!!! My next try was a buttercream using a nondairy margarine. I used the 1/2 margaring 1/2 crisco recipe but substituted Smart start light margine (which is non-dairy). It came out okay but was very thin. Is there something I can do to thicken it without sacraficing the taste. I love the 1/2 butter 1/2 crisco recipe and am trying to duplicate it but a non-dairy recipe. Does any have any suggestions.
I have a bridal shower cake due next Sunday and really need some help.

It's here on CC. I used it--substituting 1/2 butter for the all Crisco--all the time and it's wonderful--light and creamy and not very sweet at all.
