can you put this on a cookie right out of the oven (like you can with MMF)???? or does it have to be applied after the cookie cools with corn syrup?? Been experimenting lately with different techniques and todays new challenge is RBC!!!

any info - greatly appreciated!!!

You can put it on right out of the oven. I would wait a few minutes otherwise the top of the icing "sweats". I don't use it often, but when I do I wait until they are warm, but not hot. Does MMF "sweat" if you apply right out of the oven???

MMF didn't 'sweat' the couple of times I've used it at all....hmmmm....maybe i'll try a few and see how it goes...can always just wait til they cool and do it then if I don't like the way it goes.

Thanks!!

It will still "sweat" some- even if the cookie cools a bit first. It will look kinda icky- but just let it sit overnight and almomst all of the sweat evaporates. I just give them a quick wipe with a paper towel before I add RI accents to be sure it is completely dry. IMHO it is the best method of cookie decorating...veeery delicious!
