how do you keep mmf from bulging

Where are you having the problem with the icing bulging? At the bottom?

this was a preventive question. I have experianced the bulge at the seam where two layer meet in the middle of the cake, I am using a filling.

have you let the cakes settle before torting?? sometimes that how you get the bulge.
