Can anyone give me their opinion of The Wilton Master Course, and if it is a good investment for a beginner? Can you get close to it by taking the 3 courses offered at Michael's and lots of practice? Thanks

I just got back from Darien, IL where I took the Wilton Master Course. I say that if you can afford it, it is the best investment you can give yourself. Sandy (the instructor) is very patient and willing to help all students but especially beginners. I say go for it. You will be amazed at the skills you leave there with. I wish I could take it again. I will be going back soon to take other courses that they offer.

P.S. While you are a student you get a 25% discount in their store.

Dan, You can go to their web site and see what they offer. I have tried to take a few of the Wilton classes at Michael's etc. and didn't like it. But you can see that their master classes are quite extensive. I think they even offer the blown sugar there.
