i was looking on ebay for an airbrush and came across this little one that uses the can instead of a compressor. it is actually for model cars. this is brand new. would any of you pros have some advise should i or shouldn't i try it. it is only $10.00. Besides i like to make cakes i just only do them for family and friends so i hate to invest alot of money when it would just be used for about 10 cakes a year.

I went to the expense of buying one and I hardly ever use it. It just depends if you like the look of airbrushed cakes.

Wow! $10! that sounds like a GREAT deal! I am always using the Color Mists from Wilton and I love them! I was thinking about getting a machine myself. I am going to do some Color Mist right now, as a matter of fact! If you like the look and think you'll use it, GO FOR IT! thumbs_up.gif

I bought a model car airbrush at Wal-Mart to use. The overspray is a terrible mess, but cleans up easily. Other than that I love it. My husband is going to try and concoct some sort of paint booth for me. I don't do that much airbrushing so I have no reason to spend hundreds of dollars on one.
