I'm not nearly as industrious as you are. I'm making a 2 layer 8" chocolate fudge cake with cheese cake filling. I think I'll only do the crumb coating and save the fondant decorating for tomarrow. Good luck! Hope you get some sleep tonight!

Does White Chocolate Candy Clay count?

I made some faces with my clay molds... lots of airbubbles, so I'm going to have to experiment.

Tootie Roll Barbed Wire? That sound interesting... Is it for a western cake? Pictures please... cowboy.gif

I'm sure your children and DH will have sugar plumbs dancing in their dreams with the smell of cake floating through the house princess.gifking.gificon_smile.gif

I'm baking tonight too! Lots of stuff coming for Friday and Saturday, so I gotta get the Friday stuff baked so that I can actually enjoy my SIL visit on Thursday night.

Bake on, gals (and guys of course)!

Wow, I'm tired just reading your posts!!! I'm trying to decide exactly what cake to make for my Daughter In Law's birthday this weekend. She wants chocolate buttercream with something pink. I think I am going to try my first fondant bow.....wish me luck!

i am not nearly as ambitious i made a carrot cake with vanilla icing for tomorrow's order. and checked my canolli shells to make sure they werent broken for my saturday communion order. Need to make cookies for another order but homework took precedence as there was no immediate timeline for them.
bake on!

It makes me feel SO much better knowing I am not baking alone!

Yep, the barbed wire is for Oklahoma Night. I hope it works the way I see it in my head (though it rarely does)...

OH--I forgot! 24 cupcakes for DS birthday tomorrow. Thank CC for cake extenders! They will be airbrushed blue and red for Spidey!

I baked 2 of the many many cakes I need for this weekend. I also made 30 lbs of buttercream frosting, and a batch of color flow - butterflies, fences, and a bunch of "mirrors" that will go on the "Phantom of the Opera" theme wedding cake.

It's 11:30 pm and I have to get up at 5 to go to work at my "real" full time job! icon_cry.gif

It's going to be a looooong week.

Working on a thank you cake from me to my Chiro. I also am trying my first bow tonight (all the gumpaste pieces are drying, hoping I can assemble before I go to bed)

So of course i'm on here trying to figure out a way to decorate the rest of the cake, I think a pink bow on a white cake will be boring. (plus it might drum up more business icon_lol.gif )

Doing a cake tonight for our office's annual "spring thing" on Friday. Just doing a 2" deep 12" square.

Not sure how I will be decorating it, but I have some colorflow pieces for ladybugs and I am dying to try my new Wilton tip to make grass. I am still new to this decorating thing and am still in the "experimental" stage.
