I am making a shower cake for this weekend and would like do do some sort of hydrangea border. Does anyone have any easy way I can make these on short notice. I don't have the cutters and probably can't get them in time...

I think Wilton's site gives directions on how to pipe them. I think it is under project ideas. HTH.

For my hydrangeas (the ones on the topper of the cake in my photo to the left), I used the Wilton violet cutter, cut off one of the petals, and then smoothed out the edges with my ball tool. I let them dry, them dusted them with petal dust. The whole process only takes about 36-48 hours, so you should have time.

Thanks so much...I think I will try the violet cutter method!
