Will Adding Flavoring To Wilton Fondant Make It Taste Better

I've also tried adding flavoring to my Wilton fondant without success. It still tastes like play dough. Marshmallow fondant does taste MUCH better, both with and without flavoring!
I've tried the LorAnne (spelling?) candy oils to the Wilton fondant. In my opinion, it tasted better but the consistency was still kinda fowl..... rubbery.
I've since gone to SatinIce, Pettinice, White Chocolate Rolled Fondant (Caljava.com) and Massa Grischuna fondant (Albert Uster Imports).
It isn't as good as MMF or Satin Ice, however, when I've had to I will add 3 tsp of almond extract to the smaller box of fondant. It tastes much better than with the fondant plain.
Its hopeless. its good for practice cakes that you dont plan to feed to anyone and thats about it.
It's hard to imagine that anything would make it taste much worse but I can't really say that flavorings make it much better either.
