My son's preschool has it's last day of school in two weeks. I have the Wilton cupcake tree and thought it would be really cute to make themed cupcakes for their party.
BUT, I can't seem to come up with a "wow" idea. I have some gummy letters I can use, but I can't dream up a good theme. They don't ride a school bus, they have a dry erase board, not chalkboard and many of the other common school themes don't apply here. It is a Montessori program and I'd really like to do something special for the 2-6 year olds.
Any and all ideas are appriciated! TIA
I have a bad picture of what I did if you look in my photos but I will explain. I made apple shaped cupcakes ( to make the cupcake apple shaped I rolled a small piece of tin foil into a ball and stuck it down between the cupcake wrapper and the pan) and put a fig newton on top of it w/ the word math on them. You could always put the gummy letters on there to (like A + O for outstaning etc). I took a piece of gummy speramint leaves for the stem of the apple.

I am making a cupcake cake for a preschool next week. I am icing the entire cake white then decorating it like a child's drawing: stick boy and girl, sun in the corner, blue strip for sky, "M" birds, grass along bottom with some flowers. I am hoping it will look cute. Just an idea.
How about summer-themed? Sunshine faces, beach balls, etc.?
