Hi everyone!

I have read about Antonia74's icing in the cookie thread - many people like it because it dries softer than regular royal for cookies.

Can this also be used to make flowers for cakes so they could be cut/bit into, or is it still too hard for that?

If it is good for flowers, can they be saved "forever" like regular royal?

This has probably been answered elsewhere, but I can't find it.

Thanks for your help! icon_smile.gif

When I make this icing, it's not a very stiff icing, so I think it would be hard to make flowers with it and have them hold their shape.

MissBaritone has posted information about adding a small amount of glycerine to royal icing make them a bit softer, although I don't remember the exact details, you could do a search here to find it.

hth!
Laura.
