Has anyone used RBC to make molded objects?? I was thinking about using it for the brim of a baseball cap cake, and was curious how it would hold up. Any thoughts?

RBC can be used for the brim of a hat. Just make sure the brim is resting on the cake board and not floating as it will not harden as hard as gumpaste does.
