How Far Ahead?

I have to make cookies for an event on Thursday, May 25th...how far in advance can I bake them...not icing them, just bake them? Also, if I can do them in advance, how would be the best way to store them, in a box between layers of wax paper maybe? Any ideas? Thanks! thumbs_up.gif

you can bake them then freeze then, i do this all the time, then take them out (still left in their container) the night be for you need to decorate them so they defrost.
