Hello fellow Arkansans! I'm in Redfield, 20 miles south of Little Rock. I started cake decorating about a year ago when I was throwing my friend a "Pickles and Ice cream" themed baby shower. I couldn't find anyone that would make a cake with that theme. I bought the Wilton beginner book and decided to make it myself. It turned out pretty cute. I've been at it ever since! icon_biggrin.gif

I have made them here and there for family and choice friends (those that would love the effort and wouldnt make laugh if it wasnt Perfect)....lol well lately i have become more interested in it, gonna delve in it some more

Another fellow Arkansan here!! Just wanted to say HI!! I am from the small town of Sparkman (about 1 1/2 -2 hours South of Little Rock). Have been making cakes for family and friends for about four years now (i think)...

SweetStuff...I am about an hour north(?) of El Dorado, and my DH has worked there for about 2 years now... in fact, I was there today. My Second grader had a field trip there to see The Wizard of Oz performed on stage!!

I'm not in Arkansas, but I'm in Joplin, MO, which is pretty close to Arkansas.

I'm not in Arkansa, but just above the border in Ava, MO. About an hour or so from Branson.

I, too, am from Arkansas. I am from a small town called West Memphis, Arkansas. I have lived here my whole life - 28 years. Just recently started cake decorating. It has been a very slow process...
