Man I hate making the parchment circle/ other shapes that line my baking pans. Does anyone have a tip to make this less painful for me.

How are you doing it? I just trace the pan and then cut it out. For commonly used shapes, I cut like 5 thicknesses at a time so that I have them on hand.

While I watch (mindless) TV, I fold my disposible bags. Why not do your cut outs too.

My mom used to use wax paper to line her pans. She would "trace" it with a knife or one blade from scissors, and it would then be "scored" and tear into the shape very easily.

You can buy parchment circles, they aren't very expensive. I think I got them from sugarcraft.

I hate cutting circles! I hate cutting foam core circles also.

Easy way to cut circles:

Example 9 inch

Use 11 inch square parchment
Fold into quarters
Fold that to triangle
Put the point to the centre of the pan and press to form a crease along the inside edge.
Cut the creased (arch) line and open up your circle.

I just finished baking a 12", 9" and 6" with wax paper liners and I was going to start on the 2nd layers and I was just going to skip the liner and grease and flour really really good, but I forced myself to trace and cut those buggers out! I feel your pain! icon_biggrin.gif

i do the same folding technique that ChristaPaloma does with my wax paper. It gets a good even circle, but i do agree i get tired of doing them.
