For those of you who have made bust cakes using foam heads, would you recommend with or without a face?? Any reliable websites or stores to purchase from? I am planning on doing the spiderman bust cake. Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I did a spiderman bust cake and I used the one with the face......although once you frost it kinda looks like he didn't have a face lol. I bought it at Sally's Beauty Supply and it was like 2 bucks! Oh by the way the wig heads kinda look like chicks, so I smooshed the pointiness out of the nose and smooshed the chin some making it wider and more square like a man's chin and I think it worked perfectlly!!! good luck, it's an easy cake to make and looks really spectacular and HARD to do lol

thanks khalstead!!!! I just went to my local Sally's and got me a foam head. Woohoo!!!! You are right it does have a slim jaw and chin line. Looks like I might have to give spidey a little nip/tuck icon_razz.gificon_razz.gif

Thanks again!!
