hey guys! i have to do a few square cakes pretty soon, and i was wondering if anyone is willing to share a recipe for a white cake that is very dense. im really afraid that once i take the cake out of the pan, it will fall apart, like my other ones do. i dont need a pound cake recipe, just a really dense white cake recipe. thanks a TON in advance! -Lacey-

I use DH box mix, add an extra egg or egg white and sub the water for milk.

Actually, I use the WASC recipe from this site and it's pretty dense. I used it for stacked cakes and it held its shape wonderfully!
