First Time Using Fondant

I just finished my first fondant cake for course III. I didn't do the class bow, but I think it turned out all right. I will have to study the tutorial on the bow making on this site. Good thing I took a picture...minutes later I crushed the bow taking the cake to my Mom for her birthday. icon_sad.gif

I can't wait for the final cake...I'm already making plans.

Cake Pic is in my pictures. Let me know what you all think. It seems a bit too rounded. Did I use too much frosting? It looked like a cheese wheel before I put the ribbon gumpaste on it.

It looks great!! I can't get the bow right, I need to practice. Yours looks terrific.

Thank you everyone...I can't get the bow right either. It is a misleading picture. It was the only good angle. LOL.
