What Sizes Of Pans To Use? Please Help!

Hello,
I will be making a wedding cake and have several questions! The bride wants the square shape for 160 guests. What size square pans should I use to get enough servings. I have looked at the Earlene Moore serving chart, but sadly, still confused.
Please help! I thought 16, 14, 12, 10, and 6 for the keeper. Thanks in advance!
According to the Wilton Wedding Chart the following square sizes (two layers) will serve:
16in - 128
14in - 98
12in - 72
10in - 50
8in - 32
6in - 18
According to Wilton you want have 3 to 4 inches between your tiers.
I guess I am confusing myself a bit here. I have different charts and they all say different #'s. The bride wants a total of 160 servings....
Brides cake: 6, 10, 14 square (not including 6" because they are keeping the top)
Grooms cake: 12 square
How many servings do you get?
From: http://www.wilton.com/cake/cakeprep/baking/times/party_2inch.cfm
I get a total of 141
From Earlenes: I get a total of 184

Please note, Wilton has two guides. The one you linked to is the party serving guide and the pieces are larger. The numbers I gave came from their wedding chart and using the sizes you listed I get 220 servings for the bride's and groom's cakes.
I've never used Earlene's guide, but believe her pieces are slightly bigger than the Wilton Wedding servings. There are different charts and such out there. You just have to pick one that you feel comforatable with. There are also people that will make out their pans to figure out how many servings they can get from different pans, sorta making their own charts.
I don't think you are going to get exactly 160 servings. Just explain to the bride that each size makes so many servings. And that the closes you can get to it is such and such.
I use Earlene's . www.baking911.com has a chart also. Ladycakes does too. There are a lot of charts out there.Perhaps you have already thought of this but It's a good idea to give the bride the instructions on how to cut the cake and go over it with them.
also remember to provide cutting instructions to the bride. if the cake server cuts pieces larger than you instruct them to, it is THEIR problem if the cake doesn't make sufficient servings. People often cut the pieces larger and then want to say you didn't provide a large enough cake.
