When I thawed mine out, I just left it on the counter, still wrapped, overnight. First, I torted and filled, then rewrapped, and left out overnight. It probably doesn't take more than a couple of hours, though.

I froze the cakes plain; they pulled them out, torted and filled them immediately while still frozen; then rewrapped and left out to thaw. But, I have heard that it is ok to freeze already torted and filled, depending on what you are filling with. I just used plain BC, so it would have been ok for me to fill and then freeze.
