Can I use the Wilton "disposable" pillar set (the one that comes in the Course 3 kit) with a 10" square cake? My first concern is that the top plate is round and is smaller than 10". My second concern is that the pillars are made to support a smaller cake and I don't want to the whole thing to collapse. Any advice?

I am not familiar with the set... exactly how big is the plate and how tall are the pillars? If the round plate is at least an 8", I would say go ahead and use it but make sure there is a sturdy board under that cake. Ont he pillars, it will depend on how tall they are to how tall the cake is and whether or not you are doing a 1 plate or 2 plate method.
