How Do I Make A Duckie Cake W/out The 3D Pan?

Can i use a ball pan plus a mini ball pan?
Also how do i make a mini duckie? trying to make a baby shower that's in wilton's year book. (not sure what year)

I am not sure what the duckie cake looks like in the wilton book. I have a Ducky cake that I did from a Debbie Brown book. Check my pics. If you want instructions on how to do that just let me know.

if you look at my duck cake in my photos the little duck was made with the small ball pan and just carved to shape and using frosting to help.

I forgot to tell you that it was 2 mini ball cakes one for body and the other for the head that I carved to shape. It was held together with dowel rod.

your are welcome. Sorry so long to get back to you the bubbles are all fondant and I dusted them with pearl luster dust. Good luck and thanks for compliment on my cake. Make sure you show your pic.
