Fondant Peacock Feathers

Can anyone guide me on how to make realistic looking peacock feathers out of gumpaste or fondant. I have a wedding cake for saturday, which has to be very exotic. Thanks.

There is a beautiful peacock cake in the gallery with feathers as the topper. I think she used paper, but you could pm her and i'm sure she would give you some pointers. HTH
