My mothers bday is coming up and I've already told her I'd make her an elvis cake.
This will be pretty simple, just bc; and I'm doing an fbct.
I'm having problems finding the picture I want to put on this cake....so I'm wondering if there are any elvis fans out there that may help me.
It's an all black picture of him, well, his face and it has his signature at the bottom corner.
I've looked through search engines & the elvis website. Maybe I'm just missing it.
Anyone got any ideas on how to decorate it???

Are you saying you already have the picture, or that you are looking for one? If you are looking for one, try black velvet, or velvet elvis in your search engine. Gosh, I wish you lived closer to me. Unclaimed Freight almost always has black velvet pictures of him. And there's always a million pix of him floating around here when county fair time comes.
If you have the picture, try taking a photo with a digital camera and then getting an edible image made. Use black airbrush to enhance the black velvet.

Look at Crimsicle's photo gallery. She did a really neat Elvis cake about a week ago. It turned out really nice. She used an edible image on hers, but it might give you some ideas. You might also pm her as I think she has several pictures of him and might be able to email one to you.
Stupid me. The best place to find a velvet Elvis is on eBay! I just took a look for you, and there must be over 100 different ones.

I saw the pic on a magnet somewhere, hoping I'd be able to find that magnet on the website or something.
DOUG--that is just what I'm looking for, BUT this pic was all black, like a silhouette of his face or something...where the light is shining on his face...it was just a black picture.
I'll try the velvet & ebay & try to find crimsicles photos.

It was a cross stitch pattern on an ebay auction, go figure!
I think this is the pic I was looking for, but I was thinking there was more black in it...oh well!

This is a very simple pic of Elvis (my sis and I got this tattoo in Memphis) Anyway, we researched pics on Elvis.com and looked at the shop.com part and found lots of images under jewelry/accessories...also, elvis-presley-biography.com has pics (VERY nice ones, too). These may give you more ideas...and yes we are Elvis "freaks" 
Ths probably isn't what you're looking for, but I saved it because I thought it would make a cool FBCT. I'd probably not put the years on it. They make no sense. (It was probably done for the 20th anniversary of his death...dunno). Anyway....
