I would like to make my first frozen buttercream transfer. However, I am using a whipping icing to decorate the cake with. Can I put a frozen buttercream transfer on whipped icing?

That's a good question. I would like to know myself. Here's a bump.

I have only done a couple of FBCT's myself, so I am certainly not an expert, but I don't see what it would hurt. Hopefully someone with more experience with these will let us know for sure thumbs_up.gif .

I'm not sure what a whipping icing is. If it's really soft and does not set up well, the transfer might sink into it a bit. Otherwise I don't see why it would not work.

The whipped icing I use is Pastry Pride. I am thinking I should just go with all buttercream icing. I don't want to take a chance on this important cake. Thanks for your help.
