Okay, I know this question is asked a million times and a lot depends on the area that you live in, but I was just wanting to get a rough estimate. I have just started charging for my cakes and I am a little uncomfortable discusing price.
I am making a stacked first communion cake. It will be a two layer, 12 inch petal shape on the bottom and a two layer six inch on the top. The cake will be plain white with buttercream icing and about 45 small white roses. Any suggestions?
I finally decided on a basic price list (basic cake flavor, 2 layer, buttercream icing and filling, simple decoration) to give out to folks. I know for some my price may be low but don't want to scare away anyone. I have $50 for the 12" (wish I had a petal pan) and $25 for a 6". Hope this helps
